Old Shades vs. New Shades

My old shades had been up for years. I still think they were lovely; in fact, I have the exact same ones up in the rest of our home. But, I wanted to try something different in the master bedroom. Overall the feeling is much lighter now.

Shades

These are the Natural Ramie Bamboo Woven Shade in Beige. I have the blackout liner, no edge binding, in the cordless option. Our bedroom windows face East so blackout is extra nice to have on the weekends when you want to sleep in.

Drapes are the JAWARA fabric in the color Greyish Beige, tailor pleat header, room darkening liner, and memory shaped.

How No Drill Mount Works

Whether you choose to install your shades traditionally by drilling into the window or by using the no drill install, the shades are exactly the same. The only difference is the mounting hardware. The no drill mount works using tension/pressure hardware. No drill hardware and regular mount hardware are both included in your purchase if your shade is between 18-50 inches wide for installation as an inside mount. Inside mount is where the shades sit inside the window frame verses an outside mount where the shades are placed above or outside the window frame. This is because the no drill mount needs the tension of pressing into the inside the window frame.
